Yummy Veggies!

Where: The Foundation restaurant is located at 2301 Main in Vancouver, BC.

What is it: Vegetarian Restaurant

Who would ever wonder how vegetable dishes can be so creatively crafted? The environment has a very laid back feel yet has a spark of the past with its 60's diner furniture.

My friends and i ordered Hummus and Pita bread for our appy. But we received a platter. Wrong order but we were more than grateful to accept it. We were able to taste all the different appy samples and it was amazing!!!! This is definitely good for sharing! In the platter was 3 different dips of hummus, pumpkin, and some oat dip with bread, mango dressed salad. Oh it was definitely filling. Each bite i took was very stimulating, it had all the different flavors i was looking for: sweet, spice, sour, texture, crunch and more. I cant wait to try the rest of the menu.

The only downside of this restaurant is the music was too loud. I could hardly hear my friends voices and especially the waiter's voice. Maybe that's why he got our order wrong for the appetizer? I wasn't also very please with my burger, it was a little dry. Although, it is the best vegetarian burger i have ever tried so far.

Despite this, i would love to come back. Hopefully they change the playlist or simply the volume. I want to eat and be relaxed and not be in a hurry. The volume of the music is perfect for drinking some booze, which by the way they do serve.

Over all i give it 8 out of 10.
